Chicken Dumplings
  • 1 lb boneless chicken breasts (454g)
  • 3 small leaves Napa cabbage (60g)
  • 2 green onions (15g)
  • 1 tsp fresh chopped ginger (10g)
  • 2 tsp mirin - optional (10g)
  • 1 tsp sesame oil (5g)
  • 2 tbs cornstarch (20g)
  • 1/2 tsp salt (2.5g)
  • 3/4 tsp cinnamon (1.7g)
  • 27 wonton wrappers (175g)
SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:
Prepare ahead and freeze, making sure they do not touch until completely frozen. Wonton wrappers are available in your frozen food department.

STEP 1: Prepare all the ingredients.
STEP 2: Chop at high speed in a food processor until creamy yet slightly lumpy.
STEP 3: Transfer dumpling filling to a bowl.
STEP 4: Drop one teaspoon filling in the thawed wonton wrappers and fold to form a pouch.
STEP 5: Freeze in a container without the dumplings touching each other for at least 3 hours, then transfer to freezer bag.
STEP 6: Steam for 20 minutes straight from the freezer.
STEP 7: Serve with plain rice and a dipping sauce made of 1 tsp sugar, 1 tsp vinegar, and 1 teaspoon teriyaki sauce.
