White French Toast
  • 1 slice of fresh no-preservative bread (60g) (equivalent to two slices of Italian-style bread).
  • 1/2 cup egg whites (80g)
  • 1 tsp cream cheese (12g)
  • 1 tsp butter (10g)

STEP 1: Blend the cream cheese with 1 tsp egg white until smooth, then add the rest of the egg whites gradually. The cream cheese can be a little lumpy, that's OK.
STEP 2: Dip the bread in the mixture. You'll notice 4 slices of bread, that loaf made small slices!
STEP 3: Heat up butter in a skillet on medium-high, and add the bread as soon as the butter begins to sizzle.
STEP 4: When the underneath is firm and golden, flip over to cook the top.
STEP 5: Serve with our kidney friendly syrups.
